On September 12 and 13, Re-Bot E1 will make its appearance in Eindhoven. And this gigantic robot will be one that is hard to miss.
Re-Bot E1 is constructed from recycled industrial parts and is fully electrically powered. The robot can be unfolded from a transport height of 2.6 meters to an impressive show height of 8 meters. Its arms, head, eyes, and other parts move independently, while light, sound, smoke, and other effects literally bring the robot to life.
A robot with a personality
But Re-Bot is more than an impressive machine. The robot features a built-in AI voice and can hold natural conversations in Dutch, English, German, and French. It listens, speaks, and responds to its environment.
And he has emotions. Is Re-Bot angry? Then his eyes turn red and his movements become more powerful. Is he happy? Then his eyes turn green and he opens his arms. Light, movement, and AI thus come together in one interactive performance.
