Maker Days Eindhoven 12 + 13 september 2026
Maker Days is a party for makers and visitors. Thanks to the enthusiastic volunteers, everything runs smoothly!
Would you like to get to know makers, be a host or hostess, lead workshops, scan tickets at the box office and more?
(the explanation of tasks can be found at the bottom of this page)
Duties volunteers
Production support worker
Are you good with your hands? And do you like to roll them up your sleeves? Then help with lugging, building the site or minor repairs or, for example, hanging a sign.
Shopkeeper
Our shop has all kinds of other stuff for sale in addition to the fun T-shirts, such as construction kits and books. If you like running this shop with colleagues, please sign up!
Courier
If you enjoy being flexible and ad hoc and possess a driver’s license, then Runner is for you!
You can think about running an errand at the hardware store, picking something up/delivering something or anything that needs to be done last minute.
Ticket Scanner
As a ticket scanner, you are the first point of contact during the EMF. Do you enjoy welcoming people, then we are looking for you! You will also take care of the related services for the visitors of the event.
Info desk
As a central inquiry point, you will be ready with advice and assistance for event visitors. You answer questions, provide information and offer general support.
Supervisor
As a Signpost, you will be the public’s go-to questioner and keep an eye on whether measures are being followed properly.
Backstage supervisors keep the cafeteria and other areas tidy and make sure everyone gets what they need.
Coffee Facilitator
Are you a real coffee lover, but also very good at making it?
We are looking for someone to make coffee and bring it around the grounds for employees/crew. And of course that includes a nice chat. In addition, you occasionally cast an eye in the volunteer room to see if the lunch table stays a little tidy.
Workshop Supervisor
Some special installations need extra help and supervision to run smoothly. Like for example at the Nerdy Derby where there is busy tinkering…
Would you like to keep an eye out and help with smooth running?
Photographer
Are you a passionate photographer with a love of technology, creativity and invention? Then we need you at Maker Days! Join us as a volunteer photographer and dive into the world of innovation with your own camera.
Disclamer
Due to the dynamic and creative nature of Maker Days Eindhoven, situations will arise where more or fewer hands are needed somewhere. Although we will take into account the preference given, it is possible that you too will be deployed as a flying keeper.
If for any reason you cannot make your shift or perform your tasks in the run-up to the festival, please let us know to our volunteer coordinator and unsubscribe via vrijwilligers@makerdays.nl. If you can please let us know in time so we can possibly give your task to someone else. Thanks in advance and we look forward to working with you!
