I hope the AdvEEEnt calendar will encourage curious people of all ages to take their first steps into electronics and discover that learning can begin with one small component, one simple circuit, and one box at a time. Electronics laboratories are full of small and special objects: components for electrical engineering and electronics (EEE). With the AdvEEEnt calendar, I wanted to go back to the basics of electronics. No programming and no complicated systems – just simple electrical and electronic components that you can see, connect, test, and even literally touch! Each box contains a surprise and introduces a small experiment that can be completed in a short time. The activities are modular, so that every new discovery becomes a building block for future circuits. In the end, the calendar box becomes a storage box in which all components can be stored and reused for new projects.
