Control the physical world with Scratch
Control the real physical world with programming? You can learn and try that here. Program in Scratch (a language for education) and then control servos (motors), LEDs and buttons. And also make servos work well with micro:bit.

As a hobby I teach on Sundays at several Weekend Schools in the Netherlands: physics, math, programming and electrical. This is how I got into the programming language Scratch and I am now also coordinator of the translation of Scratch into Dutch and part of the NL Scratch Educators. At the MakerDays people can get acquainted with some of the lessons I teach. I also work with Raspberry Pi, Arduino and micro:bit and am especially interested in the combination of programming and electrical engineering for controlling the physical world. I have an education in electrical engineering, but have been active mainly in software and security. I am now retired and active as a mentor for young people interested in engineering.
