Cultivator
The Dicyclet is an invention by Fred Abels and Maik ter Veer — two makers with a passion for technology, performance, and the unexpected. Fred is an inventor, artist, builder, and performer with Electric Circus. Maik is the initiator and creative director of Robodock, an artist, and a stuntman. Driven by their shared curiosity, they originally built this unique bicycle commissioned by Oerol. In the beginning, it was an experiment: no one knew exactly what was possible with this gigantic machine. By playing, testing, and pushing boundaries, the creators discovered continually new movements and spectacular possibilities. Since then, the Dicyclet has found its way to festivals and city squares, where the machine repeatedly evokes wonder, amazement, and a touch of circus magic.
