Veron afdeling Eindhoven
At Maker Days, the stand of VERON Eindhoven department is manned by people who breathe technology and like to share it. No static explanation, but real makers who show, hear and experience what radio technology can do. First and foremost is Rick Wesselink, chairman of department A13. For him, radio amateurism is about more than just broadcasting. It's about building, experimenting and that magical moment when a self-built device brings a voice from far away to life. He wants to pass on that wonder. Around him are members with a variety of specialisms: self-build transmitters and antennas, digital communication, satellite connections and microcontroller projects. What connects them is curiosity and the pleasure of making it yourself. Together they will turn the stand into a meeting place where experience and young makers come together. Where technology becomes tangible. And where one first radio contact can just be the start of a new passion.
