Leaving a Trace
Leaving a Trace provides designers with the tools and methods to explore ecological thinking through observational sketching and environmental data collection. This approach stimulates their curiosity, discovery skills and nature literacy. At the same time, they are encouraged to reflect on the importance of their own and other possible perspectives within the ecosystem. Direct interaction with nature creates both an ecological and relational understanding of their environment.

Youp Ferket is an industrial designer with a strong foundation in conventional product design, enriched by experience in research-driven design practices. His work reflects a passion for artistic methods, with an eye for feasible designs that respond to broader social issues. Driven to contribute to ecologically conscious design within urban environments. Recently, he has focused on exploring how design can become a regenerative practice-an approach that not only minimizes environmental impact, but actively contributes to restoration and renewal.
