Scarecrow festival Valkenswaard
From Oct. 10 to 19, a special parade of curiosities will enter Valkenswaard. Circling around a unique exhibition of 100 scarecrows, made by artists, fellow villagers and other talent of various kinds, musicians, theater artists, cabaret artists each draw their own audience. And around it, a cacophony of activities: good food, lots of children's activities, dance, sports, games, film, nature and much more. Stop by or even better: Make a Horror too!

....we want to be there for everyone: makers and spectators, young and old, music lovers and nature lovers, young talents and established artists, Valkenswirtse people and people from outside. And (almost) everything is free. ....we want to connect and surprise. We are playful, a bit cheeky sometimes, and a bit strange. And we want to move forward. Standing still doesn't suit us.
