My name is Tom Bakker. With a background as a Systems Engineer in the high-tech semiconductor industry, I am the founder of Metal-Base. I built the Metal 1.0 LPBF metal printer from the very first sketch. By combining my industrial experience with a true maker mindset, I want to prove in Eindhoven that complex, high-quality metal production is accessible to every small workshop and engineer.
