Trauma print
TraumaPrint from medical scan to physical 3D model. TraumaPrint is a high-tech medical software project that converts MRI and CT scan data into accurate, printable 3D models. The goal is to make complex trauma cases easier to understand, plan and communicate. Using AI-based segmentation, the software can recognise and separate anatomical structures such as bones, joints, vertebrae and other relevant tissue. These structures can then be exported as 3D files for visualisation, analysis or 3D print
Trauma print - Univia
Derk Steendam has practical experience in precision engineering, additive manufacturing, and medical 3D printing. Together with Jasper Ebus from Univia, he is working on TraumaPrint: a software project that combines medical imaging, AI segmentation, and 3D printing. Their shared goal is to convert complex scan data into clear, usable physical models.
